Fuel efficiency analysis

With fuel prices constantly on the rise, fuel efficiency becomes one of the most important concerns for daily fleet management. Driving style alone can account for up to 15% of fuel consumption.

CloudMade’s fuel efficiency feature helps to identify the excessive fuel cost of each driver and the ways to reduce such spend.

• Every trip is analyzed by our machine learning module to retrieve the following metrics:
  — Optimal fuel consumption – the best achievable consumption given the details of the trip;
  — Normal fuel consumption – the level of fuel consumption of an average disciplined driver;
• Figures for each individual trips are aggregated for all fleet and each driver separately;
• When the cause of the excessive fuel consumption is identified, corrective policies and personal coaching can be applied.
