Short introduction
CloudMade with our partners have created compelling outdoor solutions that leverage multiple types of map data (from OpenStreetMap data to proprietary map data, to high end topographical raster maps). This map data is surfaced into a compelling user experience through our core technology stack and our outdoor applications across a range of device types. In each case, the solution is customized to the brand requirements of our customers.
In the area of fitness, CloudMade has partnered with device manufacturers and brought both device solutions and data portals to market to enable a connected fitness experience. A central proposition of these solutions is to leverage the cloud to store, process, share and analyze fitness data.

The Magellan Active Hub sits at the center of an ecosystem of fitness devices, applications, services and web-sites. Magellan used CloudMade's Mapsafe to store, share and manage access to their users' fitness data and Map Tiles to display the data on their site.

Medion's Outdoor Navigator is a fully featured outdoor GPS that packs a serious punch at an extremely competitive price. CloudMade's WinCE Navigation SDK provides multiple map styles and sources (topographic, OpenStreetMap city, OpenStreetMap outdoors), road network routing, off road routing and turn guidance.
