CloudMade changes the game with location
This site is about Sponsored Locations, CloudMade’s primary offering to game developers and retail brands. CloudMade has built an extensive location platform for web and mobile use. Today our location platform is used by Navigation OEMs, Mobile Handset OEMs and our developer community of over 23,000 developers.
CloudMade’s Sponsored Locations
Mobile games are the fastest growing media across a very broad demographic. The massive reach provided by mobile games – millions of users having fun playing every day in multiple places, often in or near retail locations – is a great marketing and monetization opportunity. Realizing this, we have created Sponsored Locations as a service to:
- Enable game developers and publishers to monetize the large majority of users who don’t buy in-game items
- Allow consumer brands to be part of the game, offer real consumer value and use the games to generate retail traffic and sales
- Achieve this monetization and advertising value in a way users see as a value add when they play games
